Meditations for Clear Nights

This is a collection of 18 recorded mindful stargazing practices for clear (or partially clear) nights. These practices will help you immerse yourself in the experience of the night time. Find a new way of stargazing - not just looking at the stars but with them.

Feel at home as a citizen of the Universe

Settle your body and mind with the 'Feeling Grounded' practice. Hone your skills of attention by following the 'One Star, Many Stars' practice. Help get your worries and problems in perspective with the practices of 'Getting Things In Perspective' or 'Dealing With Worry'. If the moon is up, let me guide you into a moon bathing practice, or if it's very dark take delight in spotting a shooting star. Explore what it might mean to become one with the Universe – to realise you are not actually separate from the vast Universe, but inextricably part of it. If you're feeling creative, have some fun making up your own constellations with the 'Join the Dots' practice.

If you're already in bed and struggling to sleep, try the 'Drifting Back to Sleep' meditation.

These meditation practices are a great companion to my book 'The Mindful Universe' - see below for more details.
